Client stories

You've done the work... Now it's time to play!

Client stories will be shared during the application process and help in selecting whether or not we will be a good match to work together. Past clients include celebrities, billionaires, retired doctors, artists, widows, spiritual entrepreneurs, speakers and founders.  Below are the 3 major archetypes and clients who I've worked with. The Seeker, The Journey Back to the Soul, The Next Chapter of Choosing Me

Names and identifying details have been changed or omitted at each client's request. The experiences are real.

01

The founder after the exit

Technology founder, mid-forties. Sold his company after twelve years. Came to the work six months after the close.

“I had spent my entire adult life building something. When it was done, I expected to feel free. Instead I felt erased. I didn't know who I was without the company. The year gave me back a self that had nothing to do with what I had built — and everything to do with who I actually am.”

Relocated his family. Began a second chapter in a field entirely unrelated to his first. Describes the year as the most important investment he has ever made.

02

The executive at the edge of everything

Chief Executive of a global financial institution. Fifty-two. Considering stepping down after two decades at the top.

“I came in thinking I needed a strategy for what came next. What I found was that I had been performing a version of myself for so long I had forgotten there was another one. The work was not comfortable. It was necessary.”

Stepped down on her own terms. Now advises a small number of organisations she genuinely believes in. Says she sleeps differently than she has in twenty years.

03

The high-performer who had everything

Partner at a major law firm. Forty-eight. By every external measure, at the peak of his career.

“I kept waiting to feel like I had arrived. I had the house, the title, the income. And underneath all of it was this persistent sense that I was living someone else's life. The year was the first time I had ever been asked what I actually wanted — and taken seriously when I answered.”

Left the firm. Took eighteen months to travel and write. Now building something smaller, slower, and entirely his own.

04

The woman who built an empire and lost herself

Founder and CEO of a consumer brand she grew from zero to nine figures. Forty-four. The brand had become her entire identity.

“I had made myself synonymous with the company. When I started to want something different, it felt like a betrayal — of my team, my investors, my customers. The work helped me understand that the most courageous thing I could do was become more fully myself, not less.”

Transitioned out of the CEO role. Remains involved as a board member. Has begun a creative practice she describes as the truest expression of who she is.

“The most courageous thing you can do is become more fully yourself.”
